Hi Catlover,

Here are a few of my favorite romance authors: Nora Roberts, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Kay Hooper, Kasey Michaels, Fern Michaels, Sandra Brown, Linda Howard, Olivia Ruprecht, and Olivia Goldsmith, and of course there is always Danielle Steel. These authors all write a variety of romance books, some racier than others, and some having mystery and suspense mixed in with the romance.

not forgetting Jayne Austin of course. Actually, there's a great book by Linda Howard called MR perfect. I'd say it's a thriller somewhat but makes an interesting read. the guy sounds well nice. One of the kinds that you just want to jump out of the book and ask you to marry them, he he

I like a lot of the authors that have been mentioned, but some of my faves I haven't seen mentioned are: Jude Deveraux, Janet Daily, Amanda Quick, Johanna Linsey and Elisabeth Lowell. Matter fact I just finished a Johanna Linsey book tonight with my husband. LOL. Hope I spelled all the names right.

A Bend In The Road, A Walk To Remember, The Guardian, The Notebook, The Wedding, Nights In Rodanthe, Message In A Bottle. Those are the Nicholas Sparks books I can think of now. I usually don't like romance, but I do like him.

Hmm, lvoe message in a bottle! Um, I also like Jude, sorry, I can't be asked to go back and spell her name haha, I think I may have read Joanna Lindsay, I've read most of Danielle Steele, but one of my faves would have to be laVyrle Spencer.
Let's see, I just read Family Blessings, Bittersweet,, The Endearment, Bygones, November of the heart, and there are so many other good books by her.

Oh, yes!!! She is good. LOL. It's been so long since I've read any of her work that I'd forgotten all about her.
